SUMMARY

Correctly operate CNC & Laser machines to ensure the quality of parts and their correct execution in the machining process. Execute and verify cutting files. Recognize and solve possible inconsistencies or errors in the machines or programs before executing the operations. Maintain good condition of machinery.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

• Program, execute, and verify cutting G-code files.
• Produce samples in various materials such as wood, cardboard, etc.
• Prepare the records established in the R&D laboratory procedures according to the activity to be performed.
• Report any malfunctions detected in the equipment that affects the daily activities of the R D Lab.
• Maintain the integrity of and prevent damage to the equipment in R D Lab.
• Ensure that all services comply with health and safety requirements in accordance with laboratory regulations.
• General maintenance of the machines to ensure equipment remains in good condition.
• Work on products according to the specifications given by the supervisor.
• Investigate issues and troubleshoot solutions as needed.
• Be proactive and creative in solving assigned problems.
• Implement suggestions from other designers to improve products.

QUALIFICATIONS

• 1-2 years experience operating CNC machinery and laser-cutting machinery
• 1-2 years experience creating technical drawings using Fusion 360 or similar CAD program
• 1-2 years experience using Adobe Illustrator
