Role Description
This is a full-time hybrid role for an Employment Law Attorney at Carey & Associates, P.C. The Employment Law Attorney will be responsible for providing legal counsel and representation in matters related to employment law. They will handle day-to-day tasks such as conducting legal research, drafting legal documents, reviewing employment contracts, advising clients on employment-related issues, and representing clients in court or during negotiations. This role is primarily located in Southport, CT but offers remote work.
Qualifications
- Strong knowledge of employment laws and regulations
- Experience in employment law litigation and negotiations
- Excellent research, writing, and oral advocacy skills
- Ability to analyze complex legal issues and provide strategic advice
- Strong attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines
- Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to build client relationships
- Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school
- Admission to the bar in the state of Connecticut and New York
