Job Overview:
We are seeking compassionate individuals to care for a senior with developmental disabilities.
Responsibilities:
- Assist clients with activities of daily living (ADLs) such as bathing, grooming, and toileting
- Provide companionship and emotional support to clients
- Administer medication under the direction of healthcare professionals
- Help clients with mobility, including lifting and transferring when necessary
- Drive clients to appointments and outings
- Perform light housekeeping tasks and meal preparation
- Monitor and report changes in client's health or behavior
Experience:
- Experience working with individuals with DD and/or seniors is preferred
- Ability to lift and perform heavy lifting when required
- First aid certification is a plus
- Strong caregiving skills and a passion for helping others
- Patience, empathy, and excellent communication skills
