Primary Focus

• The development or acquisition of new inventory
• Improve or convert existing inventory
• Renew leases on existing inventory
• Coordinate proper maintenance of existing inventory to uphold a high level of aesthetics 

1. Job Duties

• Learn and understand Mile High Outdoor inventory/coverage
• Read and retain state and municipal sign regulations so a development path is easily
• recognized
• Develop an understanding of the economics needed for development and presented in a proforma
• Prospect for new development opportunities and maintain an organized approach such that follow up is done on a weekly basis
• Network within Denver’s business and political community
• Assist President and Vice President with research, writing, and presentations on any development ideas being contemplated
• Professionally present development ideas to City Councils, County Commissioners, and Planning Commissions
• Develop a deep understanding in lease renewal strategy and economics
• Negotiate new and existing inventory leases assigned to you
• Properly and professionally maintain relationships of new and existing lessors
• Utilize the Apparatix program to manage lessor account contacts, and space contracts negotiated into the lease
• Facilitate all creative changes with lessors that receive advertising space per their lease
• Develop relationships with our contractors, sign and screen vendors, electricians, arborists, and all other professions related to billboard maintenance and development
• Deploy any and all billboard maintenance vendors when needed...ie the trimming of trees
• Work with lessors on access or permissions in regard to maintenance
• Ride all markets twice per year to check on the state of our inventory or potential opportunities
• Participate in quarterly and annual company goals
• Participate in the COAA (Colorado Outdoor Advertising Association)
• Always go the extra mile for our clients, lessors, or internal staff
• Handle tasks outside of the Real Estate Development Representative job description when asked
• A minimum of a 40 hour work week taking place between 8am-5pm Mon-Fri
• One day per week is available for working remotely 

Other Requirements

• Valid Colorado driver’s license
• The latest copy of your Motor Vehicle Records Report (MVR)
• Car insurance with liability coverage for bodily injury at a minimum level of $100,000
• per passenger, $300,000 per accident.
• Reliable car that must be kept clean
