Weekend Enrichment Supervisor
LSC has an unyielding belief that scholars need more "time on task," which is the rationale behind a longer school day and longer school year. LSC also believes very strongly that the whole child approach to learning in a scholar's early years is crucial to setting a foundation that can further empower the scholar to lead a choice-filled life as they matriculate through their K-12 career. One of LSC's core charter promises is access to weekend enrichment opportunities. In the 2023-24 school year, LSC offered a variety of enrichment activities for 30 of the 39 weekends during the academy school year. Staff members and parents can submit an idea for a weekend enrichment activity and, if approved, earn $50 an hour for its successful planning & execution. We are seeking a supervisor that will take LSC's weekend enrichment model to the next level. The supervisor will engage in strategic planning, & successfully supervise the planning & execution of weekend enrichments. This stipend position is ideal for an LSC employee interested in positively impacting the organization outside of their traditional role responsibilities.
Key Outcomes

• Engage in a strategic planning session with key stakeholders to create a list of weekend enrichment ideas for the 2024-25 school year.
• Create a targeted strategy that ensures an array of LSC's student body has access to weekend enrichment opportunities.
• Produce a yearlong weekend enrichment calendar in consultation with the Executive Director.
• Physically supervise all aspects of weekend enrichments (scholar sign-ups, parent communication to confirm scholar participation, opening & closing the buildings, create & submit scholar sign-in sheets, create & submit pay sheets).

CompensationThis is a stipend position at the rate of $30 per hour during the weekday (outside of regular working hours) and $50 per hour on the weekend.
Hiring Manager
The Executive Director shall serve as the hiring manager for this stipend position.
