Role Description

This is a full-time in office role for a Controller / Manager. The candidate will be responsible to develop and maintain billing policies and procedures to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements. Identify opportunities to improve billing efficiency and accuracy and implement strategies to achieve these goals. Review and analyze billing data to identify trends and areas for improvement.

Qualifications

• Experience in Sage Accounting Software
• 2 years of accounting experience
• Excellent organizational and communication skills
• Ability to work independently and with teams in a fast-paced environment
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Knowledge of generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP)

Responsibilities

• The Accounting Coordinator will be responsible for executing operational and financial processes activities, including accounts payable and receivable, payroll, invoicing.
• The Accounting Coordinator will also be responsible for coordinating dispatching activities between construction teams and personnel, utilizing Sage accounting software
• Process invoices and ensure accurate and timely payment to vendors
• Reconcile accounts payable and receivable, as well as other related financial accounts
• Ensure payroll is processed efficiently and accurately
• Monitor budgets and track expenses
• Utilize Sage accounting software to input, process, and track financial data
• Perform ad-hoc accounting and administrative tasks, as requested
• Help to handle Insurance Be able to work with our accounting team
• Be able to track expenses of fuel, maintenance & construction equipment
• Develop and maintain billing policies and procedures to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
• Identify opportunities to improve billing efficiency and accuracy and implement strategies to achieve these goals. 
• Review and analyze billing data to identify trends and areas for improvement.

Compensation : $21-$25/hr Depending on Experience
