SOLAR FX Corporation is seeking a Salesperson that will be responsible for promoting and selling solar energy arrays to agricultural, commercial and at times residential customers. Our specialty is agricultural and commercial and that will be the main focus of the position. This position will be responsible for educating potential clients on the benefits of solar energy and convincing them that SOLAR FX is the company to use. Your primary goals will be to increase solar adoption, contribute to sustainable energy initiatives, and drive business growth for our company.

Responsibilities:

• Identify and engage with potential customers through various means, including cold calls, referrals, networking, and attending industry events.
• Develop and maintain a database of leads and effectively prioritize them for sales outreach.
• Educate customers on the advantages of solar energy, including cost savings, environmental benefits, and available incentives or rebates.
• Ability to explain the solar installation process and system components.
• Visit customers' locations to evaluate their energy needs and sun exposure to determine the optimal solar array size and design.
• Present proposals to potential customers, address their questions and concerns, and talk about contract terms.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with customers by providing exceptional customer service throughout the sales process and addressing any post-sale inquiries or concerns.
• Other duties as assigned.

​ Qualifications:

• High School diploma or equivalent is required.
• Bachelor's Degree in business, marketing, environmental sciences, or related field is preferred.
• Proven experience in sales (at least 1 year), preferably solar energy to effectively engage and influence potential customers.
• Valid driver's license in order to conduct site visits and meet with customers.
• Strong negotiation skills.
• Flexibility and adaptability.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills, with a keen eye for detail and ability to meet deadlines.
