Job Summary:

Camber Road is seeking a Financial Controller. You will oversee all aspects of financial management, including regulatory and financial reporting, budget and forecast preparation, as well as development of internal control policies and procedures.

Qualifications:

• Expertise in accounting and financial reporting for a leasing business
• Knowledge of lease financing systems and tools
• Attention to detail and accuracy
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• CPA certification or relevant professional qualification

Duties:

• Manage all accounting operations including A/R, A/P, GL, Sales and Property Tax Filing Requirements, and Revenue Recognition
• Prepare and publish timely monthly financial statements
• Coordinate the preparation of required reporting
• Research technical accounting issues
• Support month-end and year-end close process
• Support Annual Audit

Experience:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance required; CPA preferred
• 5 years of overall combined accounting and finance experience
• Thorough knowledge of lease accounting principles and procedures
• Experience with creating financial statements
• Experience with general ledger functions and the month-end / year-end close process

Skills:

• Proficiency in QuickBooks
• Familiarity with payroll systems and processes
• Ability to work with various accounting software programs
• Understanding of GAAP principles
• Strong financial management skills
• Proficient in account analysis techniques
