Job Summary: Genesis Biotechnology Group is seeking a motivated individual to fulfill the position of Research Associate within the Immunology group. This group is focused primarily on small molecule drug targets at the proof of concept phase through early stage drug development. This individual will work collaboratively within a larger multi-disciplinary team. The successful candidate will demonstrate ability to work independently and feel comfortable contributing to experimental design and data analysis.Responsibilities:Conduct tissue culture and carry out experiments using cell lines and primary cells.Evaluate analyte levels by various techniques such as quantitative PCR, western blotting, and ELISA.Utilize fluorescence and luminescence detection techniques for proof of concept experiments to initiate assay development.Conduct mechanism of action studies to further characterize drug molecules of interest. Job Qualifications: General Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities (KSA’s) required BS or MS degree in immunology, molecular biology, cellular biology, or similar is required.Previous experience working in a research laboratory is strongly preferred.
