Position Title: Senior Director of Product Management

Position Summary:

Join a rapidly growing and market leading manufacturer as Senior Director of Product Management. As the Senior Director of Product Management, you will lead a team of Product Managers, Product Specialists, and Project Managers, developing and executing strategic initiatives to drive product growth, profitability, and customer satisfaction; this position will partner closely with the Product Engineering and Marketing teams, while also putting emphasis on developing, coaching, and mentoring a team of direct reports.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and mentor a team of Product Managers, Product Specialists, and Project Managers to achieve product development and business objectives
• Develop and implement strategies to gather and analyze the voice of the customer, ensuring that product development efforts are aligned with market needs and trends
• Define and maintain product roadmaps that prioritize features and enhancements based on market demand, competitive landscape, and business goals
• Partner closely with Product Engineering and Marketing teams to ensure successful product launches and ongoing support
• Drive product profitability through pricing strategies, cost optimization, and revenue maximization initiatives in several go to market formats
• Utilize data-driven insights to forecast product demand, manage inventory levels, and optimize supply chain operations
• Develop compelling value propositions and messaging that differentiate Company products in the market and resonate with target customers
• Establish and manage product life cycles, including product introductions, updates, and retirements, to maximize long-term profitability and customer satisfaction
• Stay abreast of industry trends, competitive dynamics, and emerging technologies to inform product strategy and innovation efforts
• Foster a culture of continuous improvement, innovation, and collaboration within the Product Management team and across the organization
• Put emphasis on developing, coaching, and mentoring direct reports to foster their professional growth and maximize their potential

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, Marketing, or related field; MBA or advanced degree preferred
• 8 years of experience in product management, product marketing, or related roles within the engineered products industry
• 5 years of people leadership experience in a product management environment
• Experience working in a B2B product environment is preferable
• Demonstrated success in leading cross-functional teams to deliver products from concept to market
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret market data, financial metrics, and customer feedback to drive informed decisions
• Proven track record of developing and executing product strategies that drive revenue growth and profitability
• Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels of the organization
• Strategic thinker with the ability to anticipate market trends and translate insights into actionable plans
• Experience working with Agile methodologies and product management tools/software is a plus
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and effectively manage competing priorities
