Noble Corporation is hiring for an Associate Accountant that will be working out of our corporate office while working a hybrid work schedule. The individual for this role will be able to take initiative and take ownership of specific sector in the group while being able to maintain business partnerships throughout the organization. The role will be responsible for the preparation of the financial statements, partnership financial records and associated reporting to be performed in accordance with generally accepted accounting principles, Noble accounting policies and procedures and applicable partnership specific guidelines. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS Reporting – Financial Statement Preparation and ad hoc reports. Preparation of monthly and quarterly financial statements as required by the company. Assisting with the preparation of operating budgets and forecasts. Accounting/Reporting Analysis – research and explanation of monthly, quarterly and annual income statement variances, as well as balance sheet analysis. Reconcile all accounts, including derivatives and acquisition specific accounts. Assist treasury with cash-flow forecasting. Accounting & Business Research – Research and resolve accounting and business issues; assists with the implementation of new accounting pronouncements. Audit Coordination – prepare / respond to external and internal auditors. Other duties as assigned by management. QUALIFICATIONS Degree in Accounting from accredited college, university or institution. 1-4years experience in financial statement preparation, financial consolidations and general ledger accounting. Proficient in Word and Excel, with IFS 10 and OneStream preferred. Strong communication skills both verbal and written. Ability to meet strict deadlines, and be willing to work overtime when needed. Team player and responsible individual with an entrepreneurial attitude toward responsibilities. Noble Corporation is a leading offshore drilling contractor for the oil and gas industry.
