Infinite Smiles Pediatric Dentistry is Hiring a Dental Assistant Near Solon, OH

Job Overview:

We are looking for a Dental Assistant with a Coronal Polishing Certificate to join our pediatric dental team that values quality care and patient relationships. At Infinite Smiles Pediatric Dentistry, we pride ourselves on providing minimally invasive, top tier dental services in a welcoming and patient-focused environment.

Our high-end pediatric dental practice caters to a discerning clientele, including local athletes and public figures, ad we are committed to excellence in every aspect of our care.

Key Responsibilities:

- Assist the dentist during a variety of treatment procedures
- Perform coronal polishing as part of dental cleanings
- Prepare and sterilize instruments and equipment for setup
- Prepare patients for treatment and ensure their comfort since we work with the pediatric population
- Take and develop dental X-rays
- Maintain accurate patient records and manage patient flow efficiently
- Educate patients and their parents on proper oral hygiene practices and post treatment care

Skills:
- Coronal Polishing Certificate required
- A compassionate and patient-centered approach to care
- Previous experience in a pediatric dental setting is preferred
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Proficiency in pediatric and general dentistry
- Knowledge of dental assisting techniques
- Understanding of medical terminology, anatomy, and vital signs
- Ability to handle medical documentation, coding, and records effectively
