INTEGRATIVE MEDICINE & HIJAMA CLINIC is Hiring a Medical Assistant Near Canton, MI
We are looking for an enthusiastic, outgoing, flexible, detail-oriented CMA to help our growing practice. This clinic focuses on educatung patients on how to better their health with more holistic and natural methods along with traditional acute care. This position includes, but is not limited to the following:
-Test scheduling
- Medication Prior authorizations
- Performing and entering vitals
- Patient/ Prescriber liason in regards to patient medication questions
- Administer Injections
- Keep track and reorder of Biohazard supplies as needed
-Urine Drug Screens
- Lab liason for the prescribers to order additional labs, obtain lab results, and upload to patient charts
Reception duties as needed
- registering patients
- answering phone, , email (as needed)
- scheduling patients and inputting patient info and verifying insurances
- collecting co-pays / deductibles
- welcoming patients with patience and apathy
We would like the individual to be computer savvy, comfortable with using Electronic Medical Record Systems, Microsoft Word, and Excel. Must be comfortable working with the adults and children
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $16.00 per hour Bonus
30 hr /week to start

Experience:
EMR systems: 1 year (Preferred) TEBRA
Vital signs and procedures: 1 year (Preferred)
License/Certification:
BLS Certification (Preferred)
Certified Medical Assistant (Required)
