Job Summary:

We are seeking a dedicated Private Duty Nurse to provide personalized in-home healthcare to patients. The ideal candidate will have experience in medical-surgical and behavioral health settings, with proficiency in aseptic techniques and HIPAA compliance.

Duties:

- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by the physician
- Monitor patient vital signs and symptoms, reporting any changes to the healthcare team
- Assist with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, and feeding
- Perform specimen collection processing and gastric lavage as needed
- Utilize medical knowledge to provide care in hospital or trauma medicine environments

Qualifications:

- Valid nursing license in the state of practice
- Proficiency in lifting and transferring patients safely
- Experience with tube procedures
- Knowledge of HIPAA regulations and patient confidentiality
- Familiarity with aseptic techniques for wound care
- Previous experience in medical-surgical and behavioral health settings
