Strause Law Group, PLLC is Hiring an Associate Attorney Near Louisville, KY

A boutique law firm in Louisville, Kentucky which focuses in business litigation, administrative and regulatory law, employment law, and healthcare law is seeking an Associate Attorney to join their team. The ideal candidate would be detail oriented, independent, works well with others, and has experience in litigation. The candidate must possess a Juris Doctorate and admitted to the Kentucky Bar.

Duties:

• Handle a caseload from inception through resolution, including investigation, pleadings, discovery, motion practice, trials, and appeals.

• Conduct legal research and draft legal documents such as pleadings, motions, briefs, and contracts.

• Communicate effectively with clients, colleagues, and court personnel.

• Attend hearings, depositions, mediations, and other legal proceedings.

• Collaborate with senior attorneys on case strategy and client matters.

• Maintain accurate and organized case files and documentation.

• Provide legal advice and guidance to clients on various legal matters.

Requirements:

• Juris Doctorate (JD) degree from an accredited law school.

• Admission to the Kentucky Bar.

• Strong organizational and time management skills.

• Ability to work independently and with autonomy.

• Friendly demeanor and strong interpersonal skills.

• Willingness to litigate and advocate on behalf of clients.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

• Attention to detail and accuracy in legal work.

Strong interpersonal skills.

Preferred Skills:

• Legal research and writing.

• At least 1 year litigation experience, whether clerkship or practicing.

• Experience in case management and organization.

• Strong communication skills and experience in maintaining and building client relationships.

• Ability to work independently and with autonomy.
