Overview

We are looking for a competent Part-Time Production Assistant Runner (Golf Broadcast)who is responsible for assistant in the broadcast for College Golf Network. CGN is looking for College Students or recent graduates who are looking for experiences in the broadcasting industry. Must be 18 years or older. Must be available for those dates. Paid 2 day contract.

Location: Pinehurst, NC

Dates: 28th and 29th of June

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with the CGN Broadcast and Communications team on concepts and execution of ideas.
• Meet with CGN staff to discuss and broadcast plans.
• Provide practical and creative input to planning
• Resolve technical or practical issues
• Edit footage as needed
• Undertake errands as assigned

Requirements and skills

• Experience with Photography and Videography.
• Experience with editing software, such as Adobe Lightroom, Photoshop and Premiere.
• Ability to work independently without supervision.
• Ability to be on feet for up to 80% of the prescribed shift.
• Ability to lift 20 pounds, able to stand, bend, stoop, twist and turn for prolonged periods of time.
• The position will require working inside and outside various times of the year and may require prolonged exposure to sunlight.
• Experience operating relevant equipment (cameras, tripods, etc.)
• Ability to understand and follow players in a golf setting
• Excellent communication skills
• Ability to think and act decisively 
• Attention to detail
• Physical strength to carry heavy equipment and stamina
• Excellent color vision and hearing
• Degree in film, production, media or relevant field is a plus
• Proven experience as production assistant or a passion for the industry
• Knowledge of terminology 
• Computer savvy
• Excellent organizational and multi-tasking ability
• Resourcefulness and problem-solving
• A team player with great communication skills
• Physical strength and stamina
• A valid driver’s license
• Work in a variety of weather conditions
