Lakeway Realty is an established property management company located in Bellingham, WA. We manage a mixture of single-family homes, as well as several multi-family residences and apartment complexes.

Responsibilities:

• General maintenance of a mixture of apartments and single-family homes, involving basic troubleshooting, appliance repair, light electrical work, and plumbing experience
• Diagnose and repair problems in such areas as electrical, plumbing, major appliances, carpentry, flooring, masonry, and painting/wallpaper
• Assists Property Manager in conducting routine and periodic inspections to identify safety and risk management concerns, keep the rental units in good repair, and communicate concerns to management
• Work directly with residents and team members to diagnose, assess and repair issues
• Maintains the grounds, common areas, and amenities at properties
• Completes assigned work orders generated from tenant requests for service, routine upkeep on the property by diagnosing the source or cause of the defect or problem, and making repairs in accordance with established policies, procedures, safety standards, and code requirements
• Completes the make-ready process to prepare vacant units for leasing and new move-ins by completing all necessary maintenance tasks, obtaining needed supplies and materials, and inspecting completed work
• May perform painting projects ranging from full interior painting of rental units to minor touch up and repair of walls

Qualifications:

• Experience with light electrical work, plumbing, painting (interior), drywall repairs, appliance troubleshooting and repairs
• Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and blueprints.
• Proficiency in using CMMS software for maintenance tracking and reporting.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks effectively.
• Strong communication skills in English, both written and verbal.
• Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Reliable transportation to and from job sites.
• Candidate must be willing to submit to background screening and drug testing prior to onboarding.

Pay: $25.00 - $30.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
