The University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics Department of Nursing is seeking a Staff Nurse (RN) for the Adult Acute Care Unit (2JCP). The Adult Acute Care Unit is part of UIHC's Medical Surgical Services (MSS) division. The Adult Acute Care Unit is a 30-bed, medical surgical unit. We serve a diverse patient population including the Family Medicine service along with specialized surgical patients. The surgical patients include otolaryngology (ENT), oral surgery, and plastic reconstructive surgery. We are able to provide our patients with all private rooms, which allows for a more comfortable experience for both patients and their families. We have a highly skilled multi-disciplinary team that helps to provide excellent patient care to all patients on our unit. Our goal is to provide each patient an individualized care plan, and provide them the support and care they need and deserve.
Characteristic Duties of our Staff Nurses include but are not limited to:
Percent of Time: 50%-100% Schedule: Varying shifts, weekends and holidays as assignedLocation: Iowa City, IowaSalary:$60,000 minimum at 100% effort to commensurate *This does not include differentials. Salary will vary based on years of experience and percent of effort.* SEIU Pay Plan: https://hr.uiowa.edu/pay/pay-plans/seiu-pay-planPay Differentials: Shift differentials for evening, night, and weekend shifts. Premium pay for additional shifts greater than 4 hours.
