As a Right of Way Agent, you will provide land acquisition and relocation services, per project guidelines and regulations throughout the right-of-way project lifecycle in support of the Project Manager, or members of the project team. This includes preparing complex real estate documents, performing basic property research for ownership and boundary information, and communicating with property owners and their representatives for the acquisition of right of way.

Summary of Duties and Responsibilities:

Communicates clearly and effectively, both verbally and in writing.

Is a problem solver with attention to detail and strong negotiation skills.

Works independently and as part of a team.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Minimum of Five years of Right of Way acquisition experience (including experience with or within the Department of Transportation
  • Active Florida Real Estate License
  • Active Florida Notary
  • Must be proficient with MS Office Suite, specifically Excell, Word, Outlook, and Dropbox
  • Must have an iOS and Android smartphone to be able to access ORC’s systems
  • Valid Driver’s License
  • Experience utilizing the Uniform Relocation Act is a plus
