Location: Apparel and Beyond, 357 Main St., Lower Level, Gaithersburg, MD

Job Overview:

Apparel and Beyond, located in Kentlands, is expanding its team! We are seeking a dedicated Part-Time Printer Technician/Store Associate who embodies integrity, independence, and reliability. The ideal candidate will manage not only direct-to-garment printing but also order fulfillment and store operations, especially in the owner's absence.

Responsibilities:

• Operate and maintain DTG and screen printing equipment.
• Prepare and adjust digital files for the printing process.
• Monitor inventory and order supplies as needed.
• Ensure the quality of final products through regular checks.
• Assist customers with orders, handle inquiries, and provide excellent service.
• Prepare orders, package, and ready them for shipping.
• Maintain a clean, organized work environment.
• Act as the store associate, managing day-to-day operations when the owner is not present.

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to stand or sit for prolonged periods.
• Capable of lifting up to 50 lbs unassisted.

Qualifications:

• Must be 18 years or older.
• Experience in DTG and/or screen printing preferred, but not required.
• Proficiency in various PC software related to design and printing.
• Excellent customer service skills; ability to engage positively with customers.
• High level of integrity, independence, and reliability.
• Detail-oriented with a strong desire to produce high-quality work.
• Able to work flexibly and independently in a fast-paced environment.
• High school diploma or equivalent; further education in graphic design or print technology is a plus.
