Agency Producer

Location: Remote, Portland, OR

Reports To: Executive Creative Director

Profile:

As a producer, you will oversee the management of multiple creative projects simultaneously, transforming creative ideas into reality. This encompasses various types of media, including broadcast television commercials, social videos, static web banners, radio spots, out-of-home advertising, and more. You will handle the entire production process from concept to execution, collaborating with clients, creatives, and the account team, as well as overseeing both the production and post-production stages. Additionally, you will manage the budget for each project and negotiate with pre- and post-production companies.

This role requires both creativity and meticulous attention to detail.

Qualifications:

• 3 years in an agency environment
• Extremely strong organizational skills
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word and PowerPoint.
• Familiar with cloud-based file collaboration systems like Google Drive, SharePoint, Box, etc

Additional Qualifications:

• Knowledgeable about the most current techniques and opportunities across various channels including TV, cinema, radio, and digital media.
• Knowledgeable about the legal and regulatory codes
• Estimating preliminary quotes upon initial review of a script to assess its budget feasibility.
• Proficient at their technical craft.
• Experienced in creating and producing content collaboratively with a network of partners, such as staying informed about which directors are best suited for specific project concepts.
• Experienced negotiators adept at balancing diverse expectations and requirements while effectively managing budgets without compromising on work quality.
• Respected in the production industry with established connections to pre- and post-production studios, directors, casting agents, and more.
• Skilled at process management, presentations, logical thinking and creative problem solving.

Responsibilities:

• Supporting the creative team and their ideas by representing, owning, and championing them. Finding creative solutions to bring ideas to life in accordance with the brief. For example, explaining the production quote to a client in detail and justifying all costs at the production meeting, including types of insurance.
• Producing any concept work before the project is live. This may include Animatic; Mood Films; Soundscapes.
• Sourcing partners, companies, and suppliers for the project, including directors, overseeing treatments, casting agents, actors, artists, locations, animators, and more.
• Editing film and other content in the edit suite.
• Managing all third-party relationships throughout the production process to ensure strong collaboration and the creation of high-quality content that meets the brief.
• Coordinating and managing the entire project in collaboration with the Director and Production Services, Commercial Production, Creative team and Client Service as needed.
• Supplying commercials to air as per the technical brief, generating idea or new techniques to develop work as it is taken from the page to the screen.
• Meeting with clients, understanding their needs, and being entrusted to manage the process for them.
• Awareness of rules surrounding usage fees, talent, contracts and shooting aboard.
• Presenting ideas and routes to clients and internal teams.
• Participating in recruitment and selection decisions.
• Assisting with internal social media production.
