Job Description:
Hyde Homes is seeking an experienced Construction Manager to join our dynamic team. As a Construction Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the entire construction process of new homes, ensuring projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. This role requires strong leadership, excellent communication skills, and a keen eye for detail.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee all aspects of construction projects from initial planning to final implementation.
- Allocate resources effectively for assigned projects to ensure timely completion.
- Supervise onsite personnel, subcontractors, and trades to ensure adherence to project plans.
- Interface with project inspectors, contractors, architects, engineers, city and county officials, and clients to ensure compliance and satisfaction.
- Negotiate with contractors to secure cost-effective agreements and manage order costs.
- Maintain high standards of workmanship that meet original plans and specifications.
- Monitor project progress and make adjustments as needed to meet deadlines.
- Ensure all safety standards and regulations are followed on the construction site.
- Provide regular updates and reports to senior management on project status.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in construction management or a related field.
- Proficiency with construction management software and tools.
- Strong leadership qualities with the ability to manage and motivate a team.
- Excellent negotiation skills to secure favorable terms with contractors.
- Detail-oriented with the ability to meet tight deadlines.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to interact with various stakeholders.
Compensation:
- Base salary of $70,000 - $90,000, plus bonuses based on experience and performance.
