Omnivore | A Food & Beverage Advertising Agency is Hiring a Social Media Manager Near Milwaukee, WI

Omnivore is seeking an experienced and proactive Social Media Manager to join its team. We are an agency dedicated to growing our food and beverage clients’ businesses via integrated and purpose-driven marketing strategies. Our ideal candidate would lead the development and implementation of social strategies for our roster of clients as well as leading the agency’s social channels. We are looking for an individual with proven experience in developing and executing social strategies that deliver tangible business results. The Social Media Manager reports directly to and works closely with the VP of Digital Strategy and CEO – as well as often collaborating with the Director of Content Creation, Culinary Strategist, creative teams, and client service teams.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute social media strategies for organic and paid efforts across various platforms (e.g., LinkedIn, X, Facebook, Instagram, YouTube and TikTok)
  • Create and curate engaging content, including text, images, videos, and infographics, tailored to the B2B food and beverage industry
  • Plan, implement, and manage paid social media campaigns, including budget allocation, targeting, and performance tracking
  • Monitor and analyze social media performance using tools such as Google Analytics, Facebook Insights, and other social media analytics platforms
  • Collaborate with broader team to ensure cohesive messaging and branding across all social media channels
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and best practices in social media and digital marketing, particularly within the food and beverage sector
  • Experience with Community Management, including engaging with followers, responding to comments/messages, etc.
  • Identify and leverage influencers and industry leaders to amplify content and brand reach
  • Prepare and present regular reports on social media performance and campaign effectiveness to clients and internal stakeholders

Content Creation Responsibilities

  • Continuously create, schedule, and publish content across primary social media platforms
  • Develop content calendars and ensure a consistent posting schedule that aligns with marketing strategies
  • Produce platform-specific content, ensuring each post is optimized for its respective platform
  • Utilize graphic design tools (e.g., Canva, Adobe Creative Suite) to create visually appealing content
  • Capture and edit photos and videos, creating high-quality multimedia content
  • Write compelling and engaging captions, posts, and copy that resonate with the B2B food and beverage audience

Qualifications

  • 5-7 years of successful experience in each of the Responsibilities listed above
  • 4-year college degree in applicable discipline (Digital Marketing, Marketing, Advertising, Public Relations) preferred
  • Successful track record of developing, presenting and implementing owned and earned marketing strategies that ladder into broader marketing communications initiatives
  • Experience working with and as a content creator, implementing strategies via crafted verbal and visual content
  • Successful track record of managing social media programs across industries and audience segments
  • Proven success as an analytical thinker and experience working with, translating, and developing insights from analytics platforms
  • Strong organizational skills coupled with outstanding communication skills 
  • Capacity to create relationships with a multitude of personality types
  • Diligent attention to detail and consistency of work
