Envision Initiative, LLC (EI) is a Human Resources (HR) consulting organization dedicated to supporting and advising HR professionals and business leaders. The role of HR changes consistently and our organization’s focus is to stay in front of new laws, the world of work, and what’s important to employees. We provide the following services to our clients:

  • Experience – Auditing HR functions of an organization, creation of a roadmap and structuring a plan for building and improving HR functions
  • Society ­– Managing a network for HR professionals to grow and develop their HR knowledge and skills
  • Academy ­– Providing an educational series for HR professionals and those with responsibilities including overseeing people
  • Recruitment – Offering full cycle recruitment to our clients
  • Workshops – Providing presentations to clients on HR and leadership topics that offer the best value to their teams

The HR Generalist is instrumental in supporting the Experience, Recruitment and behind-the-scenes administrative work for EI. Our work culture is unique in that we are still considered to be a start-up, the founders love new ideas and suggestions, we value our team beyond belief, and we share a work ethic that goes way beyond average. Summary/objective:

The HR Generalist role is the supportive force behind the administrative and recruitment work we conduct. This individual is responsible for supporting administrative functions related to providing our clients with the utmost service and quality. Our goal is for our clients to feel cared for with the expertise and commitment provided by leading customer service brands – think Nordstrom, Ritz Carlton, and Apple. We run a tight ship, have high expectations, yet also appreciate the importance of developing each member of our team and ensuring the most incredible work experience for everyone involved with EI. We are focused on the next level, the next chapter, and moving forward. Essential functions:

  • Right hand to one of our co-founders running full cycle recruitment for our clients. 
  • Writes and edits documents in English and Spanish (e.g. letters, job descriptions, new hire checklists, clients’ employee handbooks)
  • Provides administrative support including email correspondence and generation and distribution of emails, letters, spreadsheets, forms, etc in English or Spanish
  • Supports Co-Founders with administrative functions (e.g. ordering supplies on Amazon, scheduling meetings, taking meeting minutes)
  • Assists with planning and coordinating in-person and online networking events and workshops
  • Works with an incredible team including two co-founders and our HR Technology Specialist 
  • Research information online as requested 
  • Other projects as assigned

 Work hours, location, and environment:

  • Approximately 20 hours per week (part-time), Monday through Thursday, 10am to 3pm 
  • Indoor work
  • Hybrid position – One day in office plus meetings as requested

Required education, experience, and credentials:

  • A minimum of 1 year of administration experience
  • Full cycle recruitment experience (or a desire to learn all stages of recruitment) 
  • Must be fully bilingual in English and Spanish
  • Demonstrated customer service skills that go above and beyond what is expected
  • MS Office Suite or Google Suite proficiency (must know your way around computer programs, email and the Internet)
  • A love for researching online and summarizing findings

Preferred education, experience, and credentials:

  • Associate or Bachelor’s degree in a related field preferred
  • Experience with public relations – meeting people and promoting a business

Additional eligibility requirements:

Must be able to sufficiently work from home on a regular basis with computer and related equipment (We pay a technology stipend paid each month.)
