Position:

NCC has an immediate opening for a Substation Project Manager in Brainerd, MN. Responsibilities include project management of new, upgraded, and expanded substations, including material procurement, construction and commissioning/startup support through energization. Additional responsibilities include budgeting, scheduling, planning, executing, monitoring, and reporting of substation projects and proposals. Project managers oversee the field staff on all day-to-day construction activities. Coordinate material orders, Project Managers diligently execute NC quality control procedure, ensuring best-in class project execution and delivery NC’s Project Managers are the primary interface with clients and other project stakeholders. Project Managers provide technical mentorship and training of project team staff.

Qualifications:

  • 5 Years Substation Construction Management.
  • Proven experience in project management, preferably in the construction of electrical substations.
  • Strong understanding of construction methods, equipment, and materials used in substation projects.
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate teams and resolve conflicts.
  • Proficiency in project management software and tools.

Knowledge of relevant regulations and standards, such as NEC, NESC, and OSHA
