Southern Product Finishing is Hiring a Powder Coating Painter Near Pearland, TX
Key Responsibilities:
- Set up and operate powder coating equipment, including spray guns, booths, and ovens.
- Apply powder coatings according to specifications and color requirements.
- Ensure proper coverage and thickness of coatings by adjusting spray equipment and techniques.
- Monitor and maintain coating equipment to ensure optimal performance and safety.
- Follow all safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Collaborate with other team members to ensure efficient workflow and timely completion of projects.
- Document work performed and maintain accurate records of coating processes and materials used.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work.
- Good physical stamina and manual dexterity.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Basic knowledge of health and safety regulations related to powder coating.
- Proven experience as a powder coating painter or similar role.
- Familiarity with powder coating equipment and techniques.
- Experience with manual coating systems.
- This position involves working in a manufacturing environment with exposure to chemicals, dust, and noise.
- Protective gear such as masks, gloves, and safety glasses may be required.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and perform repetitive tasks.
- Capability to lift and move objects up to 60 pounds.
