About the role:

As a Cercle Health Physiatrist, you will play a critical role in ensuring that our company:

• Delivers high-quality care to our patients and SNF clients: You’ll provide comprehensive and personalized rehabilitation care, and facilitate improved clinical outcomes for hundreds of patients. You’ll pilot innovative clinical guidelines and policies for working with our SNF clients, monitor to ensure we provide the highest clinical quality, and ensure SNF staff satisfaction.
• Is well-positioned for future growth and success: You’ll help to increase Cercle Health’s impact in the Queens and Long Island area through growth to additional SNFs, developing robust care coordination and referral networks, and spearheading business initiatives and operational improvements.

• Have knowledge of electronic health records (EHRs), billing and coding systems, and other software solutions used in clinical practice.

Required Experience and Qualifications

• Board-Certified MD or DO in Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation.
• Active Medicare #, and NY Medical License.
• 1-2 years of prior experience working in Skilled Nursing Facilities.
• High clinical knowledge and a love for clinical care
• Commitment to continuous learning, staying up-to-date with the latest research, clinical best practices, and industry trends. (Ex: goes to conferences, etc)
• Experience working collaboratively with other members of a management team, including finance, marketing, and operations.
• Cultural competency skills, including an understanding of diverse cultural backgrounds and the ability to communicate effectively with patients and families from different cultural and linguistic backgrounds.

Preferred qualifications:

• Spanish speaking
• Fellowship-trained in pain or TBI
• Leadership in Residency— former chief resident
• Experience managing clinical teams, including physicians, nurses, and other
• A strong understanding of healthcare regulations (including those related to SNFs) and experience ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
