Role Description
This is a contracted hybrid role for a Social Media Manager of New York Times Bestselling author, Rusty McClure. The Social Media Manager will be responsible for managing social media accounts, planning posting schedules, and create demographic targets using social media marketing strategies. They will also be responsible for writing, curating, developing and executing content for all social media platforms.
The role is also responsible for monitoring and analyzing social media metrics, engaging with followers, collaborating with book influencers, and staying up to date with social media trends.
Qualifications
- Social Media Marketing and Social Media Optimization (SMO) skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Content Strategy and Writing skills
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently and within a team
- Experience with social media management tools
- Knowledge of book industry is a plus
