Job Description:

We are seeking a dynamic and organized Marketing and Event Coordinator to join our team on a full-time basis. The Marketing and Event Coordinator will play a key role in planning, coordinating, and executing a variety of events and activities for our members and stakeholders. This position offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to the success of our association and make a meaningful impact on the manufacturing industry.

Responsibilities:

Plan and coordinate a wide range of events, including two major fundraisers, an annual awards banquet, training seminars, lunch and learns, networking events, plant tours, and an Expo and Job Fair.

Coordinate all aspects of event planning and execution, including venue selection, vendor management, budgeting, logistics, promotion, and onsite coordination with guidance from the Executive Director.

Work closely with internal teams, volunteers, external vendors, sponsors, and partners to ensure successful event delivery.

Collaborate with association volunteers to coordinate their schedules for events and oversee their activities during event participation.

Develop event timelines, schedules, and checklists to ensure all tasks are completed on time and within budget.

Create marketing materials to promote events and increase attendance, including website event pages, promotional emails, flyers, power point presentations, etc.

Provide exceptional customer service to members, exhibitors, sponsors, and event attendees.

Enter event data in CRM and association database following the event.

Assist in the development and implementation of event strategies and initiatives to meet organizational goals and objectives.

Follow-up post event with attendees through phone calls or event surveys.

Conduct post-event evaluations and analysis to measure success and identify areas for improvement.

Other office work as assigned.

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in Event Management, Hospitality, Marketing, Business Administration, or related field.

Proven experience (2-3 years) in event planning and coordination, preferably in a trade association, manufacturing, or related industry.

Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and prioritize tasks effectively.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with stakeholders at all levels.

Detail-oriented with a high level of accuracy and professionalism.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, Canva, Constant Contact and Salesforce.

Knowledge of Wild Apricot member management software a plus.

Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and travel as required for events.

Knowledge of manufacturing industry trends and best practices is a plus.

Designated area in your home for establishing a home office equipped with a laptop, printer, and ample storage space for event essentials, including a table, two chairs, banner stands, tent, promotional materials, and other necessary items for events.
