We are looking for a Part Time Medical Assistant to join our wound care team! You will be responsible for providing support to ensure efficient operation of the medical office. You will support providers and patients through a variety of tasks related to patient care management, organization, and communication. Previous experience in wound care is a plus! Must be able to tolerate the sight and smells of wounds.

Duties and Responsibilities

Include but not limited to:

• Provide basic wound care (dressing wounds, applying treatments, etc.)
• Completing all tasks assigned by Treatment Coordinators in a timely and accurate manner
• Completing daily notes in the patient's chart
• Maintaining proper storage of medical supplies
• Scheduling/Answering Phones
• Interview patients and document basic medical history
• Obtain Vital Signs
• Assist during medical examinations and wound care procedures
• Produce and distribute correspondence memos, letters, faxes and forms
• Prepare and clean treatment rooms and medical instruments

Position Requirements

• Must be able to pass drug screen/background check.
• Certified Medical Assistant
• Reliable transportation
• Excellent time management skills and ability to multi-task and prioritize work
• Social perceptiveness and service oriented
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Strong organizational and planning skills
• Proficiency in patient management software

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: From $14.00 per hour
