SOLON S.p.A. is Hiring an Accounting Specialist Near Tucson, AZ
Responsibilities
- Process bills and bill payments through Bill.com and Quickbooks Enterprise using three-way matching
- Reconcile monthly vendor statements, reconcile AP schedule to Bill and Quickbooks Enterprise
- Monitor, process and reconcile corporate credit card transactions, statements and payments through Bill Spend platform
- Monitor, code, process and reconcile rental equipment and temp labor expenses through Quickbase and Quickbooks
- Manage materials tax-exempt status on purchases, submit tax exempt certificates in multiple states and jurisdictions to suppliers
- Manage Supplier and subcontractor COI certificates, lien waivers, preliminary requests and job information sheets
- Code, maintain, reconcile and report on warranty expenses, O&M expenses, and projects in development
- Maintain 20-vehicle fleet including registration, GPS tracking, repairs & maintenance and accident claims reporting
- Plan long term travel assignments for crews on off-site projects, including lodging, transportation, and per diems processing
- Completes all month-end tasks as assigned, including bank reconciliation and other schedules
- Assist with annual audit preparation, schedule review and reconciliations as needed
- Other various tasks and responsibilities as assigned
- Three years accounts payable working experience- must have construction or job-costing experience
- Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Office 365 with Excel and Adobe Acrobat DC
- Experience in QuickBooks Desktop required; Bill, Box and Quickbase is prefered
- Strong attention to detail, high level of accuracy and ability to meet deadlines
- Creative problem-solving skills- you must think outside the box
- Prioritization & organization skills- high level of transaction volume
- Team player attitude with flexibility, initiative, and persistence
