Role Overview

We seek a highly organized, proactive, and strategic individual to join our team as Chief of Staff (COS). The COS will directly report to the CEO and will play a crucial role in the organization by collaborating with various teams and clients, acting as a Project Manager, overseeing marketing strategies, and supporting office management. This is an on-site role requiring a hands-on approach to ensure smooth operations and continuous growth.

Key Responsibilities

  • Direct Report: Serve as the CEO's primary advisor and assistant, ensuring alignment and execution of strategic initiatives.
  • Project Management: Act as a Project Manager for one or multiple projects, closely monitoring operations, advising on process improvements, and ensuring streamlined workflows.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with various teams and clients that the CEO is engaged with, fostering strong relationships and ensuring effective communication.
  • Liaison: Act as a liaison between various teams, departments, and clients/partners, ensuring seamless communication and coordination with the CEO.
  • Marketing Oversight: Collaborate with the marketing team to oversee strategy and campaigns, ensuring alignment with business goals and brand consistency.
  • Social Media Updates: Post regular updates from Walturn insights to LinkedIn, enhancing our online presence and engagement.
  • Hiring Support: Assist in the recruitment process, helping to identify and onboard top talent.
  • Office Management: Support office management tasks and ensure a welcoming environment for in-person clients.
  • Appointment Scheduling: Book appointments with potential clients, partners, and the leadership team, including the CEO and CTO of startups.
  • Client Relations: Build close connections with all clients, understanding their needs, concerns, and feedback to ensure satisfaction and loyalty.
  • Business Development: Engage in networking and business development activities weekly by attending conferences, events, and meetups, as well as interacting with like-minded professionals.
  • Email Management: Handle business email correspondence, ensuring timely and professional communication on behalf of the CEO.
  • Research and Insights: Choose a few topics of interest, conduct thorough research, and write regular research-backed insights to be published on Walturn Insights.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience in a similar role, preferably within a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
  • Exceptional organizational and multitasking skills.
  • Strong project management capabilities with a track record of successfully overseeing projects from inception to completion.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Proficiency in social media platforms, particularly LinkedIn.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with diverse teams and clients.
  • Strong understanding of marketing strategies and campaigns.
  • Experience in hiring and office management is a plus.
  • Proactive, strategic thinker with the ability to anticipate needs and provide innovative solutions.
