Airports Talent International is Hiring a Human Resources Manager Near Houston, TX

We are seeking an experienced Human Resource Manager to join our Client's HR team at Houston , Texas , United States. The ideal candidate will have 6-10 years of experience in human resources, with a focus on payroll management and related compliances having a certification from the Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM). This individual will play a key role in supporting various HR functions, including payroll administration, employee relations, recruitment, benefits administration, and compliance.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage all aspects of payroll processing, including but not limited to: timekeeping, payroll deductions, tax withholding, and compliance with federal, state, and local regulations of the United States.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for employee inquiries related to payroll, benefits, and HR policies and procedures.
  • Administer employee benefits programs, including enrollment, changes, and terminations.
  • Assist with recruitment efforts, including job postings, screening resumes, scheduling interviews, and conducting reference checks.
  • Coordinate new hire orientation and onboarding processes, ensuring a smooth transition for new employees.
  • Handle employee relations matters, including conflict resolution, disciplinary actions, and performance management.
  • Maintain accurate employee records and HRIS data, ensuring compliance with confidentiality and data protection policies.
  • Stay updated on changes in employment laws and regulations, ensuring compliance with all applicable laws and regulations.
  • Support HR initiatives and projects as needed, contributing to the overall success of the HR department and the organization.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's/Master's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
  • SHRM certification (SHRM-CP or Similar certification ) strongly preferred.
  • 6-10 years of progressive experience in human resources, with a focus on payroll administration.
  • Strong understanding of payroll processes, tax regulations, and compliance requirements.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively interact with employees at all levels of the organization.
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
  • Proficiency in HRIS systems and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and adapt to changing priorities.
  • Positive attitude and a collaborative team player.
