We use LLMs for analyzing large amounts of text and are currently finetuning our own. We place a heavy emphasis on interpretability and the best UX for audability and transparency of our results due to the nature of the financial industry. Due to industry requirements, we also are large proponents in open source and creative solutions for on prem deployments.

We are looking for a strong full stack generalist engineer. You will be our first engineer hire and play a pivotal role in our future. You will work with our entire stack from our core engine to designing the UX to architecting our deployments to integrating customer feedback.

If you’re not currently in SF, we’ll cover relocation costs in full. The only real hard requirement is that you're down to be in SF and grind with us. We promise you'll have fun and learn a ton : )

Ideal background

- 3 yoe as frontend and backend engineer

- expertise in next.js, python, and postgresql

- familiarity with deploying to cloud, particularly GCP

- experience with ML / LLMs

Nice to haves

- prior experience in finance / related fields

- architecting systems from the ground up

- working in fast paced, startup environments

- expertise in ML / LLM research or search algorithms

- experience in product level roles
