a family-owned and operated business in the hearth industry, is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Temporary Office Assistant to join our team. This role offers the opportunity to learn the ropes of the business and potentially transition to a full-time position with experience.

Responsibilities:

• Manage incoming phone calls and chats, providing excellent customer service in a white-glove manner.
• Follow up on leads generated from Yelp, Angi, Thumbtack, and our website.
• Assist with data entry, order placement, and running errands.
• Maintain a tidy and organized showroom environment.
• Independently manage and complete assigned tasks, demonstrating ownership and initiative.
• Work collaboratively with the team and ask questions when needed.
• Post on social media accounts through Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, Twitter

Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite including Excel, Sharepoint.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Familiarity with Google suite (Google Sheets, Google Meet, Google Docs) a plus
• Familiarity with AI tools such as Gemini, ChatGPT, Gamma a plus
• Experience with Housecall Pro a plus.
• Familiarity with the sales flow process in a service industry (hearth industry, HVAC, plumbing, etc.) preferred.
• Strong problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and take ownership of tasks.
• Must be willing to come into the office most of the time, with some remote work flexibility.
