Introduction: We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Body Shop Manager to oversee our highend repair facility. As the Body Shop Manager, you will be responsible for managing daily operations, ensuring efficient workflow, maintaining high-quality standards, and providing exceptional customer service. This role requires strong leadership qualities, technical expertise in automotive repair, and the ability to effectively manage a team.

Key Responsibilities:

• Operational Management:
• Oversee all aspects of the body shop operations including scheduling, workflow management, and resource allocation.
• Ensure efficient use of resources to maximize productivity and meet deadlines.
• Monitor work quality to ensure repairs meet industry standards and customer expectations.
• Implement and enforce safety protocols and compliance with environmental regulations.
• Team Leadership:
• Recruit, train, and supervise a team of technicians and support staff.
• Foster a positive and productive work environment through coaching, mentoring, and performance management.
• Delegate tasks effectively and provide ongoing feedback to team members.
• Customer Service:
• Interact with customers to understand their repair needs and provide accurate estimates.
• Address customer inquiries and concerns promptly and professionally.
• Ensure timely completion of repairs and maintain communication with customers throughout the process.
• Financial Management:
• Manage budgets, control costs, and optimize profitability of the body shop.
• Monitor inventory levels and control expenses related to parts and materials.
• Identify opportunities for revenue growth and implement strategies to increase sales.
• Quality Assurance:
• Conduct quality inspections of completed repairs to ensure adherence to manufacturer standards and safety regulations.
• Implement continuous improvement initiatives to enhance service delivery and efficiency.

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a Body Shop Manager or similar role within the automotive repair industry.
• In-depth knowledge of automotive repair techniques, tools, and equipment.
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and develop a team.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment.
• Proficient computer skills and familiarity with automotive software systems.
• Certification in Automotive Service Excellence (ASE) or equivalent is preferred.

Education:

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Additional certification or training in automotive repair or management is an advantage.
