We are seeking an Intake Coordinator to join our team and play a crucial role in admitting new patients into our agency. This position involves verifying insurance, completing admissions paperwork, and guiding patients through the intake process.

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct initial evaluations and admissions for new patients.
  • Verify insurance coverage and complete necessary paperwork.
  • Answer incoming calls and assist patients with inquiries.
  • Schedule appointments and manage patient calendars.
  • Perform clerical tasks and manage patient charts.

Skills and Qualifications:

  • Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including active listening.
  • Customer Service: Strong customer service orientation with the ability to guide patients through the admissions process.
  • Computer Skills: Proficiency with computer programs to verify insurance, fill out digital forms, and maintain patient records.
  • Time Management: Effective time management skills to handle multiple patients and appointments.
  • Organizational Skills: Ability to prioritize tasks and maintain organization in a fast-paced environment.
  • Sales Skills: Ability to connect with patients and help them make informed decisions.
  • Bilingual: Spanish speaking is preferred, but not required.
  • Must be fully vaccinated against Covid-19.
