Infinia ML, based in the Raleigh-Durham area, is an AI company specializing in automating workflows in healthcare. Infinia ML is part of Aspirion, a leading provider of complex claims and denials management services. Aspirion helps hospitals and healthcare systems minimize patient burden by maximizing reimbursement from insurance companies. Infinia ML has developed a versatile and standardized platform for processing written content in documents, such as medical records, insurance claims, correspondence and more leveraging the power of ML, including LLMs. We are seeking a Sr. Technical Product Manager to join our Product team and help deliver AI-enabled solutions to transform our business.

Reporting to the Director of Product, the Sr. Technical Product Manager, AI/ML combines technical knowledge in machine learning or software development with strong product management skills to generate meaningful business outcomes, particularly in the realm of revenue cycle management. The primary focus of this role is the ownership and development of a portfolio of product offerings built on core AI/ML capabilities. This portfolio includes machine learning models to analyze account data and predict the likelihood of success, workflow applications to analyze documents and accelerate operator productivity, and end-to-end automation solutions for process transformation. This position is also responsible for ensuring that products are both technically sound and drive business value with users and stakeholders. This includes conducting detailed analytics and ongoing monitoring for outcome measurement, providing data-driven evidence of impact.

Responsibilities:

  • Product Strategy & Roadmap: Provide insights on AI/ML capabilities and applications, influencing product development and strategic problem-solving. Prioritize features and projects to guide development in line with the organization’s strategic goals.
  • ML Solution Exploration and Design: Conduct product discovery efforts around new opportunities to identify different solution options, rapidly test key assumptions, and align around a solution specification ready for development and prototyping
  • ML Solution Development & Deployment: Actively participate in the full data science lifecycle with our data science and engineering teams, incorporating AI/ML into business operations and managing data from diverse sources for consistent application of ML
  • Data-Driven Decision Making & Reporting: Utilize analytics and financial insights to make informed decisions that align with business objectives and report out on progress and results
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Communicate effectively with all stakeholders to ensure AI solutions meet business goals and achieve stakeholder satisfaction
  • Cross-functional Collaboration: Work closely with data scientists, engineers, operational leaders and product management peers to promote effective collaboration and integration of AI/ML with product offerings and operational needs

Qualifications (minimum):

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience
  • 3 years of Product Management experience in building and launching products, ideally with an AI/ML focus or components
  • Self-starter with an ownership mindset and comfortable with a high degree of autonomy
  • Strategic thinker with the ability to align customer use cases with technological solutions and envision end-to-end product experiences
  • The ability to build a business case, link product outcomes to operational and financial outcomes, and calculate ROI
  • Experience with the full product lifecycle, including feature grooming, development prioritization, launch execution, and integrating customer feedback into the roadmap
  • Functional knowledge of product analytics, including tracking product adoption metrics and analyzing usage patterns to generate insights
  • Excellent organizational, problem solving, tactical thinking and time management skills
  • Ability to lead others, often through influence rather than formal authority
  • Exemplary oral and written communication skills, including the ability to clearly articulate complex technical concepts to non-technical audiences
  • You are empathetic, an active listener, and value building collaborative and sustainable relationships with end users and stakeholders

Qualifications (preferred):

  • MS, MBA, or other graduate degree in a management or STEM field
  • Experience operating within and across cross-functional teams, including Data Science, UX Research, UX Design, Product Management, User Success, Engineering, Legal, and Finance, while advocating for the product vision with external partners and customers
  • Experience in shaping and launching products within complex regulatory and/or policy environments
  • Working knowledge of healthcare revenue cycle management, either on the payer or provider side
  • Preference will be given to candidates local to the Raleigh-Durham, NC area
