Using proprietary CVD manufacturing technology, we provide application development partners with a scalable and cost-effective path towards the commercialization of graphene and carbon-based 2D materials. As we expand our operations, we are looking for members to join our Science Team and help accelerate our vision.

Job Description:

We're seeking an innovative, curious, and motivated individual to join our Science team as a full-time team member. As part of our dynamic team, you will be directly involved in our R&D efforts, contributing significantly to the development of novel graphene-based solutions. You will also collaborate with our customers to understand their needs and challenges, providing tailored solutions that leverage our graphene technologies.

Responsibilities:

  • Participate in innovative R&D projects, focusing on CVD graphene and related materials
  • Analyze experimental data, utilizing your skills in material science, chemistry, physics, or related fields to deliver insightful observations and conclusions
  • Collaborate with our cross-functional teams (Science, Engineering, and Business Development) to transform experimental findings into potential products
  • Work closely with customers to understand their application requirements, translating their needs into actionable project goals
  • Provide technical support to customers, using your expertise to solve their application challenges and ensure optimal usage of our products
  • Contribute to the preparation of technical reports, papers, and presentations to effectively communicate our scientific findings and advancements
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and developments in graphene science and contributing to our continuous improvement

Qualifications:

  • A bachelor’s degree in Material Science Engineering (MSE), Chemistry, Physics, or a related STEM field. Advanced degree preferred.
  • Excellent problem-solving abilities and analytical skills
  • Self-motivated with the ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team

Preferred Skills:

  • General laboratory experience
  • Experience with chemical vapor deposition processes
  • Knowledge of various material characterization techniques and experience in their application.
  • Proficient in data processing and analysis, with ability to handle complex datasets and perform statistical analysis.
