JOB DESCRIPTION SUMMARY

This is a fantastic opportunity to gain exposure into investment banking, private equity, alternative asset wealth management, and many other facets of the financial services industry, serving an ultra-high net worth clientele. In this role, you will perform numerous critical functions that will directly impact projects and the company as a whole, while allowing you to dictate much of your compensation along the way. General functions include: Analyze business performance and market conditions to create forecasts, and help senior management make tactical and strategic decisions by providing periodic reports. Prepare pitchbooks through thorough understanding of historical performance, macro-economic trends, industry outlook and meaningful, factual, analysis via Excel and deep dive research. Assist in creating financial models useful for company sales and acquisitions. Review, analyze and outline wills, trusts and other legal documents to aide in the creation of an estate plan.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Complete both industry level and corporate level analysis and research.

• Consolidate and analyze financial data (budgets, income statement forecasts, etc.) considering company’s goals and financial standing

• Consolidate and analyze client information (personal financial statements, wills, trusts etc.) to estate planning recommendations considering the client's goals and financial standing

• Develop financial forecasts, pro-forma financial statements, and investor, bank, and other 3rd party presentations.

• Develop new and utilize existing templates to support efficient initial and ongoing analysis.

• Assemble and summarize data to structure sophisticated reports on financial status and risks.

• Develop various financial models, including various valuation methodologies, conduct benchmarking and process analysis.

• Conduct comparative business studies on past, current and future performance

• Convene with clients' other advisors, including attorneys, accountants, trust officers, and investment bankers to fully understand clients' financial goals and circumstances.

Qualifications

• Highly-Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel & PowerPoint

• Strong Work Ethic, if any doubt, PLEASE DO NOT apply.

• Detail oriented with strong organizational and analytical skills

• Experience with estate planning aspects such as wills, trusts, gifting mechanisms etc.

• MUST be flexible as job duties may be adjusted to meet the needs of the client and business

• Degree in Finance, accounting, or similar

• 2-5 years prior experience in a similar role within financial services industry, with comfort developing and utilizing complex financial models

• MBA preferred but not required

• Understanding (in concept at minimum) of M&A, (Private) Company Valuation, Debt Re-Financing, capital raise, etc.

• Strong initiative, natural curiosity, and ability to manage and complete multiple projects timely and accurately

• Ability to work well with others in fast paced, dynamic environment

• Coachable. Entrepreneurial minded, driven by long term goals

• Excellent analytical, decision-making, and problem-solving skills

Strong interpersonal and written/verbal communication skills
