The Cameron Park Zoo is seeking an enthusiastic Herpetologist / Herpetecultursit to join our developing Herpetology Team.

The selected candidate will be working with a wide variety of Herpetefuana incluing a divernumber of venomous snakes (King Cobras and Green Mambas to Mangshan Mt.

Vipers and more), a large Varanus and Cyclura collection and many species of endagered Chelonians. Under basic supervision, the selected candidate serves as a lead keeper within the Dept.

of Herpetology. This position will assist in overseeing the day-to-day operations, husbandry development and implementation and, play a primary role in employee training and development.

The Senior Zookeeper acts as a liaison between the team and leadership, helping to assure adherence to policies and procedures while developing supervisory skills.

Experience Required
