We are looking for a driven and detail-oriented professional with a strong work ethic. This person should have strong communication skills and the ability to build and maintain relationships between our company, our clients (new and existing), and our underwriters. Quick learners with the ability and desire to continue learning are a perfect fit for this role. Your educational background isn't nearly as important to us as possessing the right characteristics above and having a drive to succeed!
Our office windows overlook the runway at Hampton Airfield, so we get to watch airplanes while we work! In this role, you will learn the Aviation Insurance business by servicing a book of business which includes personal and commercial lines accounts. You will assist current clients by requesting and processing policy changes, along with any other midterm requests, as well as move them through the renewal process.
Our agency is licensed in all US states and has the capacity to write international business.
Responsibilities:
· Manage and service a book of personal lines accounts including aircraft and property policies
· Maintain client relationships while moving accounts through the renewal process in a timely manner
· Requesting and processing midterm requests such as certificates or policy changes
· Use quoting software to obtain quotes for current and potential clients when required
· Accurately present accounts to underwriters for consideration for renewal and new business quotes
· Uphold our reputation of providing excellent and timely customer service to all clients
Required Qualifications:
· 1 years of insurance OR aviation experience
· Positive attitude
· Quick Learner
· Strong Communication Skills
Desired Qualifications:
· Associates or Bachelor’s degree
· 3 years of insurance experience
· Experience with relevant technologies (AMS360, MS Office Products, Outlook)
· Experience, knowledge, or interest in the aviation industry
· P&C Insurance License would be a big plus
