Role Description

This is a full-time hybrid role for a Lighting Research Intern at AWA Lighting Designers. The Lighting Research Intern will be responsible for conducting research, assisting in lighting design projects, analyzing lighting trends, and assisting in the preparation of design presentations. While the role is based in the New York City Metropolitan Area, there will be days in the studio and some remote work days.

Qualifications

• Research and analysis skills
• Keen interest in architectural lighting design
• Basic knowledge of lighting principles and techniques
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively
• Strong attention to detail
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in a relevant field (e.g., architecture, interior design, electrical engineering)
