B2B Office Technology Solutions - Outside Sales Representative

Are you a results-oriented and driven sales professional with a proven track record of achieving sales goals? If so, we are seeking outside sales representatives with excellent interpersonal skills who can develop a sales strategy to build new and expand current customer relationships in our Connecticut and Massachusetts territories.

RYAN Business Systems is a family-owned business with almost 50 years of experience in the Office Technology arena, marketing and supporting Canon and Kyocera Hardware and Software in Connecticut, Massachusetts, and Southern New Hampshire.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct own business development via prospecting activities to meet or exceed monthly sales targets.
  • Travel within your territory to meet prospects/customers one-on-one.
  • Maintain a comprehensive knowledge of our company, products, and services.
  • Create and present cost-benefits and needs analysis of existing/potential customers.
  • Coordinate sales effort with team members and other departments
  • Manage and track sales and progress in our CRM software.
  • Support customers after initial sales.
  • Continuously improve through feedback.
  • Attend meetings and training as required.
  • Valid driver’s license.
  • Bachelor’s Degree preferred.

Qualifications

  • Proven track record in outside sales, preferably in the Office Equipment Industry.
  • A self-starter with a spirit of entrepreneurship.
  • Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal skills including the ability to give formal presentations and demonstrate equipment to individuals or groups.
  • Time management and organizational skills including the ability to prioritize multiple opportunities and manage pipeline appropriately.
  • Team player, reliable, punctual, and possessing a positive attitude.
  • Computer use competency; experience working with MS Office and CRM.
