Responsibilities

The Field Service Tech/ Engineer Daily responsibilities:

1. Schedule and perform Preventative Maintenance.
2. Work with office for obtaining parts and creating any follow up work schedules.
3. Maintain your service vehicle and tools assigned to you
4. Complete all documentation for your daily work; FSRs/CSAs/ Driving log
5. Keep track of all expenses and report them on the appropriate site.

Monthly/ Quarterly and Annual Responsibilities

1. Assist in the maintenance/cleaning of the shop and warehouse
2. Quarterly truck maintenance (Schedule and complete)
3. Bring new customer equipment and prospective customers to the attention of your manager and the sales department
4. Maintain a good appearance and your uniform to represent a positive image of the company

Qualifications

1. Must be well versed in UPS, PDU and power distribution.
2. Must be able to communicate with the customers so that they have a clear view of the procedures.
3. Must be able to complete an FSR in clear and coherent language.
4. Must understand the operation and general mechanics of a UPS, PDU and their control circuits.
5. Must have troubleshooting skills
6. Previous experience in the industry is requested.
7. Must be available to travel locally and to NV, CA and CO on a limited basis.
8. Must have a clean driving record
