Job Summary:
The Director of Food Supply Chain is essential in supporting our client's Operations team to ensure safe, high-quality, and efficient production. This role will develop and implement a comprehensive Supply Chain Management Plan in line with the company's business goals and strategic plan.
Job Responsibilities:
- Improve the Food supply chain to support business growth and reduce expenses.
- Oversee planning, sourcing, supplier quality, and purchasing, ensuring talent development.
- Lead sales, inventory, demand planning, procurement, and planning, ensuring accurate forecasts and supply chain execution.
- Develop inventory strategies for maximum efficiency and quality.
- Collaborate with manufacturing on outsourcing and in-sourcing for new and existing products.
- Create a sourcing strategy aligned with business growth and supply chain goals.
- Monitor financial metrics and implement fiscal controls to maximize cost savings.
- Develop operating budgets with Operations/Finance.
- Establish controls and reporting systems for accurate information on performance and savings.
- Stay updated on supply chain trends through publications and conferences.
- Perform related duties and assist in general business management as needed.
Requirements
Job Qualifications:
- Must have 7 years of FOOD supply chain experience
- 5 years of management experience
- Bachelors Degree in Business
- Experience with ERP systems
- Strong teamwork, people, and communication skills
Schedule:
- Monday to Friday
