Inclusive Consulting are delighted to be working with a large FMCG manufacturing business in Rockford, as they look to appoint a Maintenance Manager into their business.

As the Maintenance Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the maintenance operations of the manufacturing facility. You will ensure that all equipment and machinery are functioning optimally through effective use of CMMS and a robust PPM schedule.

You will be an assured and competent leader, able to develop existing skills and upskill where necessary. You will proactively business partner with cross-sectional functions to ensure the optimal running of the facility.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement maintenance strategies using CMMS to ensure minimal downtime and maximum equipment efficiency.
• Oversee and manage the PPM schedule, ensuring all maintenance activities are completed timely and effectively.
• Lead, mentor, and develop the maintenance team to ensure high performance and adherence to safety standards.
• Coordinate with production and quality assurance teams to minimize disruptions and ensure compliance with industry standards.
• Manage the maintenance budget, including procurement of spare parts and services.
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex mechanical, electrical, and technical issues.
• Maintain accurate records of all maintenance activities, equipment performance, and inventory management.
• Ensure compliance with all health and safety regulations and promote a culture of continuous improvement.

Key Skills and Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering preferred.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in a maintenance management role in a fast paced manufacturing business.
• Proficiency in using CMMS software for maintenance planning and tracking.
• Strong understanding of PPM and its implementation.
• Excellent leadership and team management skills.
• Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
