Responsibilities for a Senior Valuation Analyst

• Build financial models and reports
• Perform financial forecasting, reporting, and operational metrics tracking
• Analyze financial data and create financial models for decision support
• Analyze past results, perform variance analysis, identify trends, and make recommendations for improvements
• Evaluate financial performance by comparing and analyzing actual results with plans and forecasts
• Recommend actions by analyzing and interpreting data and making comparative analyses; study proposed changes in methods and materials
• Perform market and economic research, and pull comparable company data from private databases

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Finance or Accounting or the pursuit thereof
• 2-3 years of business valuation experience. For those applying, if you do not know USPAP or SSVS No. 1 is, do not apply. Lastly, if you are not familiar with M-1, M-2, capitalization of cash flow, DLOM, DLOC, Gary Trugman, or Shannon Pratt, please do not apply.
• Reside in the state of Utah
• High proficiency or knowledge of financial modeling techniques
• Strong fluency in Microsoft Excel formulas and functions
• Strong quantitative financial skills
• Excellent time management and organizational ability
• Ability to multitask and meet constant deadlines
• Strong interpersonal skills, including written and oral communication
