APMI is seeking a Project Architect to join our growing firm at our Phoenix office. APMI has been in business since 1984 and our projects include municipal (State, County and City levels), higher education, retail, corporate office, manufacturing, restaurant, and financial work. Qualifications and Skills

· Degree/License in Architecture

· 10 years of past experience in architectural practice

· Passion for design and continued education

· Strong design and project management skills

· Attention to detail

· Knowledge of software which includes: REVIT and AutoCAD

Detailed job description is performance of the following tasks, in coordination with firm Principals

Licensed architect with direct oversight of projects, who establishes and implements goals and objectives, promotes the firm’s values and long-range plans, and positions the firm for growth. In conjunction with firm Principals, responsible for establishing overall goals, objectives, and coordinating implementation plans.

Contributes to development of production standards and monitors quality for projects. Directs and monitors project team members and ensures high productivity. Must be thoroughly familiar with entire architectural process and should prosses managerial capability to lead and direct activities of all project- team personnel while monitoring technical production on all project to ensure adherence to quality standard at high productivity are met for all design contract documents.

In collaboration with firm Principals, oversees design presentations and monitors project design development. Provides design direction and support to ensure consistent and high-quality design firm- wide. Must possess a thorough knowledge of architecture practice with emphasis on design, building material, construction methods, integration of engineering disciplines, and building costs/codes.

Prepares strategic plans for project success. Serves as primary liaison contact with clients to complete projects on schedule, within budget, and with maximum client satisfaction. Coordinates all project efforts to ensure effective execution of strategic plans. Responsible for coordination of all project efforts, administrative and technical, to ensure the most efficient and cost-effective execution of assigned projects. Actively manages client budgets, schedules, and programs. Responsible for project communications and documentation, office administrative tasks, and project team assignment. Acts as team leader in coordination with firm Principals and oversees less experienced project managers.
