We are seeking a talented graphic designer with experience who can, not only, create strategic design communication necessary for our organization, but who can champion our brand and creatively conceptualize new and interesting content. This is an in-office position. Collaboration and flexibility in dealing with multiple deadlines and rush results are paramount. Social media engagement and magazine design experience is a plus. There are great opportunities at LABI to expand your experience and creatively design everything from simple invitations to 100-page plus feature magazines. Objectives

• Collaborate, brainstorm, and strategize with multiple teams on a wide range of materials that will include web pages, presentations, programming collateral, signage, internal communications, publications, and marketing materials
• Translate strategic direction into high-quality design within an established brand identity
• Develop concepts by hand or with software, and execute original content by determining the ideal usage of color, text, font style, imagery, and layout
• Manage the design and uploading process for all project materials, based on best practices for using a content management system

Responsibilities

· Create on-brand graphic presentations using content from multiple sources that communicate ideas and information clearly

· Conceive, design and coordinate program collateral such as magazines, brochures, displays and banners

· Conceptualize and design captivating visuals for print and digital media, including social media graphics, website elements, infographics and presentations

· Translate facts and figures of subject material into graphic terms that best convey the intended meaning

· Conduct thorough reviews and quality checks on final designs to ensure accuracy, consistency and alignment with project objectives and specifications

· Identify and address any design-related issues or discrepancies promptly to maintain the highest level of quality and professionalism

Required skills and qualifications

• Exceptional creativity and innovative design skills
• Organizational and time-management skills a must for meeting deadlines in a fast-paced environment
• Five or more years of experience (academic and professional) with design software, including Illustrator, InDesign, Photoshop
• Excellent communication skills and accountability
